Maple Street Bassets

My name is Jennie Oberg. My kennel is located in Northwestern Alabama. I have happily been owned by Basset Hounds for over 18 years. I am working hard to better the breed and raise champion quality dogs.I have been blessed to network and befriend fanciers of the breed worldwide. I have imports from the Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, Canada, Slovakia, and Poland. I have spent years educating myself about structure and health of the breed and continue to learn more and more. All of my dogs are DNA Health Tested clear of the following: Primary Open Angle Glaucoma, Thrombopathia, and Severe Combined Immunodeficency Disease (X-Linked) by PawPrint Genetics Health Testing.
